TRAVEL IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF ST.IGNATIUS Information Night
Tuesday, September 18th, 6:30 pm in the Priest's Modular
Join Jesuit High School instructors Leslie Willson and Michael Cheney, as well as Fr. Mike Moynahan, SJ. Pastor of St. Ignatius Parish, on a trip that explores the historic path of St. Ignatius Loyola. This trip will take place July 20 – August 1, 2019.
This adults-only trip is offered to Jesuit High School families,
members of St. Ignatius Parish, and their friends. Highlights of
the trip include time in Bilbao, Azpetia (birthplace of St.
Ignatius), the Loyola Manor and Basilica, Barcelona, Montserrat,
the cave of Manresa; on to Rome to visit the rooms of Ignatius at
the Gesu; the Church of St. Ignatius (where Robert Bellarmine,
Aloysius Gonzaga and John Berchmans are buried); St. Peter’s,
Chapel of La Storta, St. Mary Major Basilica where Ignatius
celebrated his first Mass, and more. We plan on celebrating the
Feast of St. Ignatius on July 31st. There will
be time for reflection and prayer, led by spiritual directors
Michael Cheney and
Fr. Mike Moynahan, SJ.
