Overview

May Crowning is a longstanding tradition, when our school gathers to sing for the Blessed Mother, present her with spring’s first flowers and crown her with a small wreath of blossoms. This joyous occasion was also a time to recognize in a special way, our students who have received their First Communion.

Anyone who would like to volunteer their time at school, on a field trip, or any activity at St. Ignatius, MUST complete an on line course provided by Catholic Mutual Group before volunteering.

THIS TRAINING IS MANDATED AND A CERTIFICATE MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE BEFORE YOU MAY VOLUNTEER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY SCHOOL EVENTS/FUNCTIONS WHERE CHILDREN ARE PRESENT. This training must be renewed EVERY 3 years.
