The primary goal of the Saint Ignatius Spanish Program is to
introduce the students to basic Spanish and to get the students
ready for Spanish 1 in high school. Students in first

prayer to their Guardian Angel and Hail Mary in Spanish.
Fourth-grade students will then learn to use all of what was
introduced in first through third grades and have quizzes on
translation, spelling, and sentence structure. In addition
to the prayers learned in first through third grade, students
will learn the Our Father.
Fifth through seventh-grade students will add on to and review
all of what was introduced in first through fourth grade.
In addition, students will be able to express more feelings.

the, possessive adjectives, phrases commonly used in the Spanish
classroom will all be learned. Students will also learn the

learned in previous grades and will be able to write a paragraph
