Tuition Assistance Fund
A Chance to Change a Life
In recent years St. Ignatius has seen an increase in the number of families in our community who require financial assistance to send their child to our parish school. In response to this need, St. Ignatius Parish School initiated a Tuition Assistance Fund that will provide financial grants for students, ensuring their dreams of a Catholic education are realized.
The Tuition Assistance Fund received its initial support through the generous donations of family, friends, and loved ones in memory of Lucille Russell (née Rominger). The family chose to empower the school to positively impact a deserving student by granting them an opportunity to receive an education in the Jesuit tradition and environment of St. Ignatius Parish School.
The Tuition Assistance Fund is dedicated to empowering students who aspire to receive a Catholic school education but face financial barriers. Scholarships will be granted not only based on financial need but also on character and academic excellence. Every Tuition Assistance scholar is expected to uphold the school’s standards and to engage in extracurricular activities such as clubs, service organizations, student government, music, or athletics. Additionally, each family is required to contribute a portion of the tuition fee, fostering genuine collaboration and commitment from all. Thanks to the generous Lucille Russell memorial gift, St. Ignatius Parish School can now provide immediate support through the Tuition Assistance Fund.
