Do the Preschoolers attend the Grandparents Day Mass?

Only the preschoolers who are picked up before Mass will attend Mass. 

The rest of the preschoolers will have a normal school morning.

Where do the Grandparents go when they get to school?

This year the grandparents are invited to a small reception before mass in the gym.  The grandparents can pick up the preschoolers who are going to Mass from the preschool classrooms from the gym door.  

If your preschooler will NOT be going to Mass (usually lots of them do NOT go to Mass) then we will have a  regular preschool morning. .

Those who do go to Mass are welcome to leave the backpacks in the classroom until after mass..  

Where do the Grandparents Park?

The Grandparents will park in the parking lot but the parking lot will fill up quickly because often the grandparents come VERY early….

What time do the Grandparents arrive?

The reception is from 8:30-9:45. Mass begins at 10:00.  

What time do the preschoolers need to be picked up from school?

If your preschooler hasn’t been picked up for Mass then they must be picked up at 12:00.

Is there Preschool Afternoon Extended Care?

No. All the preschoolers must be picked up by 12:00.

My parents are attending Grandparents Day Mass with my older children. Do they have to take my preschooler to Mass?

No. We won’t tell! They can pick them up after Mass if you prefer.

Do the preschoolers need to wear anything special to Mass?

The preschoolers must wear their regular uniform. If they need a sweatshirt then they must wear their gray preschool sweatshirt to Mass. No FREE DRESS PASSES 

Do the preschoolers come back to class after Mass?

No. Once the preschooler is signed out they are dismissed from preschool for the day.

Is there going to be a place to eat lunch at school?

No, not this year.  Once Mass is over lunch will be eaten with family members off campus.
