Basketball practices begin soon!  All players will receive notification of their team placement.  Practices are closed to all except named coaches and players.  All participants must have their medical release form on file in the office and completed the online Athletics Emergency form found on School Speak.  

Tryouts are the week of November 15th (see attached flyer for more details). Tryouts are a two day evaluation process.  To be placed on a team the student must attend both tryout days unless given prior approval by the Athletic Director.  Coaches are not a part of the evaluation process.  Tryouts are closed to parents.  

St. Ignatius has a “No Cut, No Quit Policy”  once team rosters are released.  The formation of teams is completely dependent on the number of students participating in both days of tryouts.  8th grade student who quits forfeits his or her right to play another sport in the same season and the following season.   5th – 7th grade student who quits forfeits his or her right to play another sport in the same season and in the same sport the following year. 

All participants must have their medical release form on file in the office to participate in tryouts.  

Little Dribbler basketball (1st – 4th grades) has moved to the Spring season this school year.
